2 in Solitude

Márta Balla and Kata H. Jancsó spent a month in January 2020 at the Dr. Éva Kahán Foundation’s Artists in Residence Program in Tuscany, Italy. Their artworks, created during their stay and after their return, are on display in this one-week pop-up show. San Sano’s inspiring environment, complete isolation, Tuscany’s wonderful nature and the Foundation’s absolute support made an ideal setting for genuine self-expression. The exhibited creations reflect on both artists’ creative processes during the program.
