Kata Jánosi
In her pictures Kata Jánosi wants to portray childhood, memories, personal spaces, insecurity, the constant search for a way. Embroidered motifs are present in her paintings, which are sometimes the symbols of work at home, everyday monotony, or long-forgotten memories left in the attic covered with cobwebs. Melancholy is broken here and there by the merriment of children’s drawings - the freedom of self-forgotten creation, with its own charm and kindness.
